What are the most affordable new cars available in Australia right now? Everybody is looking for the best quality, cheapest, yet most enjoyable, small car to drive around the city. We originally planned to write an article about the “best small car below 20000″, but we found four models under $16,000 on the market. You might find significantly lower prices if you shop around. These vehicles are available on a dealer demonstration basis, or the current year’s used models with very low kilometers. Cheap cars can no longer compete with higher-end vehicles, as the car market is highly competitive. Four cars currently fall into the new category of affordable, city-oriented cars in Australia. These are the Holden Spark and Kia Picanto, as well as the Suzuki Celerio and Mitsubishi Mirage. Which package deal is best?  So What is the Cheapest Brand New Car in Australia lets find out below.

Holden Spark

Holden Spark

The Holden Spark, which is listed at $16,990 and the most expensive of all four competitors in this competition, is priced at $16,990 . It boasts the strongest engine (1.4 litres four-cylinder) and probably the most impressive gadgets. A 7.0-inch touchpad is featured on the dashboard. It’s compatible with Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and provides navigation and Apple’s Siri. The Spark’s tech is superior to its competitors. The Spark also features Bluetooth and a six speaker sound system. The vehicle’s cabin has a modern and clean layout. The space is adequate, except in the back where there is not much leg room. Australian New Car Assessment Program gave the Spark a 5-star rating for safety. It has six airbags that protect all passengers when it is full throttle. The handling and steering are more reliable than other vehicles.

The Spark’s drawbacks include the lack of a reverse camera, despite being equipped with a touchpad that could have allowed it to interact. Holden is not targeting the right audience with this tech-savvy vehicle by having wind-up windows in its back. Although it is a city car, the suspension does not give up as well as other cars, but it still means a bumpy ride.

Kia Picanto

Kia Picanto

The Kia Picanto is priced at $14,990. This makes it one of the most affordable vehicles in the competition. It also gives you a significant advantage right from the beginning. Highlights of the Kia include a four-speaker stereo system, Bluetooth and rear view parking sensors. It may not seem like much but Kia offers a seven-year unlimited mileage warranty. This warranty is a safety measure for those who are considering purchasing this trusted vehicle. The Holden Spark’s spacing is slightly better than the Holden Spark. It offers more legroom in the back and overall space. Safety is comparable to the Holden. It has a 5-star rating, and the Holden also offers the same safety features.

Some quality features are missing from the Kia, like the Touchpad Screen in the Holden. The Kia is louder and has a weaker engine than the Holden. An automatic transmission makes it harder to find power.

Suzuki Celerio

Suzuki Celerio

The Suzuki Celerio, priced at $14,490, is the most affordable. This model still offers Bluetooth and a four-speaker sound system, despite its high price. The small Suzuki offers plenty of space, with ample head and legroom. The Suzuki’s small size makes it easy to drive in traffic.

This model is missing a lot of features that its competitors offer. The touchpad, rear camera, and cruise control are all absent. There are only four seats in the vehicle, which is more than the other three. However, it can be used comfortably. The engine is the smallest and most vibrating of the four. The safety rating for the Suzuki was only 4 stars, and it did not receive a full 5-star crash rating.

Mitsubishi Mirage

Mitsubishi Mirage

The Mirage, which is the last vehicle to be examined in this competition, is also listed at $16,990. This makes it comparable in cost to the Spark. This model is equipped with Bluetooth, a 4-speaker sound system and cruise control. The Mirage has six airbags, and it received a 5-star crash rating. The Mirage’s style is all about style. It has chrome trim accents and a leather-wrapped shift knob. It also has the longest boot.

The Mirage does not have a lot of joy and goodies. With its orange overlay on the dash and layout, the interior gives off an unprofessional impression. The Suzuki’s seats are more spacious than the Suzuki’s, but the Suzuki’s seat space is smaller. It is only a 3-cylinder engine and rattles under its hood just like the Suzuki. It is also worth noting that the suspension and steering are issues, which further reduces its value. It is priced similar to the Spark but does not have a touchpad or rear view cameras, like the Kia.

Conclusion ON What is the Cheapest Brand New Car in Australia

The Mitsubishi is ranked last in this small car assessment due to its stupidity and the fact that it is one of the most expensive models in this range. Its high price is a detriment and its functionality has been compromised in favor of style. The affordable but lacking Suzuki takes third place. The Suzuki is a small, fun car but it doesn’t offer enough. This is in contrast to the Kia, which has a 500-dollar price increase. The Holden Spark came in second, despite it being a hard decision. The contest is about affordability. This means that $2,000 can be a major factor when choosing between two outstanding vehicles. The Spark is a unique and interesting vehicle. It offers exceptional value and technology. This makes it the best in its class. The Kia Picanto is the clear winner in this contest due to its clever layout and affordable price. Kia also offers the security of a great warranty that demonstrates their reliability.
