How to Program a Throttle Position Sensor (How to Calibrate Throttle Position sensor)?
First step in calibrating or programing your car throttle is to sit in your car and form the accelerator pedal released position learning.
Do not depress the accelerator pedal when you turn the keys on wait for at least 2 seconds for each action.
You need to know that the timing of this is important. So when you position yourself ready for this you want to perform the following steps using a clock to monitor the time:

This category here is for Acceleration Pedal Release Position Procedure and Learning.
- Step 1
Be sure that you have fully released your car accelerator pedal.
- Step 2
Then Turn car ignition switch “ON” and then you have to wait for least 2 secs while holding onto the keys.
- Step 3
Now turn “OFF” the ignition switch and wait for another 10 seconds before proceeding to the next step.
- Step 4
After the 10 sec waist, turn back “ON” the ignition switch and wait for another 2 seconds as usual.
- Step 5
Finally, turn the ignition switch “OFF” wait for the last 10 seconds.

And this should complete this reset programing. Next is on the Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning.
Steps on How to Program a Throttle Position Sensor for a Throttle Valve Closed Position Learning.
- Step 1
Start by forming the throttle valve closed potion leaning.
- Step 2
Be sure that the accelerator pedal is totally freed or released
- Step 3
Then grab the keys and turn “ON” the ignition switch. Wait 10 seconds.
- Step 4
Then turn “OFF” the ignition switch and wait for at least 10 seconds. When you turn the ignition switch off you should hear the throttle sound as it goes off.
Try to ensure that the throttle valve changes during above 10 seconds by confirming the operation sound. This is the way you confirm that the throttle valve is working.
Now let move onto the Idle Car Air Volume Throttle Position Learning
How to Calibrate Throttle Position sensor
For thing for this idle volume learning procedure, you want to make sure before you proceed to the steps that the car meets certain criteria.
So first, the car needs to be running. You have to run it and get up the temperature. you have to make sure that the charging system is putting out at least 12.9 volts.
Make sure that the headlights are turned off and car the AC is turned off as well while ensuring no electrical loads are on.
They keep the car steering wheel straight ahead and the vehicle is in-park as the car is coming up to operating temperature.
And not when you can perform the idle air volume position learning.
So now that the vehicle is up to temp and your car preconditions are met, you have to then turn “OFF” the vehicle ignition switch and wait at least 10 seconds, then follow the steps below;
